If the frequently asked questions (FAQs) from other Window Dekor dealers below do not address your question, please contact us and we will glad to answer any questions you may have.
Your three-day training class is just the foundation! After you return to your home market, you will benefit from continuing support from your Window Dekor assigned Dealer Development Specialist. Phone calls, text/pictures sent via email, and even video “walk throughs” of homes and/or businesses while you are preparing to provide a quote are used extensively to support new dealers. We encourage you, in training, to prequalify your homeowner/business owner via phone as to their wants and needs. This will give you an idea of what products to show and demonstrate when you go on your shop-at-home or shop-at-office appointment. There are so many products on the market, but your training as a professional dealer and product consultant are the keys to your success!
We limit the number of dealers in a specific geography so that you will not be competing with another Window Dekor dealer by designating a home market for your dealership. You are free to pursue business growth in any location, provided it is not in another Window Dekor dealer’s home market. It is more costly to go “out of your area”, but oftentimes, you will have the opportunity to quote on and bid on commercial jobs as you grow your business, We also encourage Window Dekor dealers to collaborate and cooperate on many larger projects as your dealership grows and matures.
You will attend a three-day training class in Atlanta or another metropolitan area, but that is just the beginning! You will be taken on a plant tour over the course of the class, and will be introduced and trained on suggested suppliers/vendors that are appropriate for your sales territory.
The short answer is “You can make as much as you want.” Key questions for you to answer for yourself include: “How quickly are you committed to getting your new dealership out there for exposure?” You must immediately determine what avenues you are going to take to market your new business. You are provided with many suggestions and recommendations when you come in for training. We suggest that you start with the least costly marketing ideas, and keep doing your research to determine which will work best for you. How quickly you react to sales leads that are generated via the internet/your website, stop what you are doing and make contact with that consumer, will determine your success rate in securing the business. Many sales can be lost if you wait for a more convenient time. If you are late in responding, it is likely another dealer in the area may have made contact and secured a relationship with the homeowner or business owner, and as such, have won the business.
